We are so good at catching our children being naughty or doing something wrong! We should focus more on catching them being good. “Thank you for helping your little brother with his puzzle this afternoon.” “I noticed that you made your bed this morning! Well done!” “You were so kind to your sister when she fell! I am proud of you!”
Find something to praise every single day. You build self-esteem, confidence and your relationship this way. This is a highly effective way to create good habits in your children because when you notice what they do right and you praise them for it they will do more of the same for more praise.
